NJFC AGM

Notice will soon be sent out for the NJFC AGM on Wednesday 18 October. All committee positions will be declared vacant and a new Committee elected. Several members from the 2017 Committee have expressed an intention to stay on but new Members, particularly from the younger age groups, would be very welcome. Thank you to Maurice Petrilli who has filled the role of Treasurer for the past three years but is stepping down, meaning we will be in need of a Treasurer. This is not an onerous role for someone with a background in finance, primarily involving setting and monitoring budgets, paying invoices, maintaining financial records and preparing annual statements.

If you don’t have the time to commit to a Committee role there are various other positions around the club where you could help out – including Property Manager, Grounds Manager and First Aid Coordinator. Alternatively there might be other things around the club that you feel need addressing, but are just in need of someone to take charge. If you are interested in doing what you can to help make our club better I encourage you to come along on 18 October.
