If your player suffers from asthma, anaphylaxis or any other serious medical condition it is your responsibility to make sure that your Team Manager and Trainer have a copy of your current action plan, and that appropriate medication is available at each game and training session.
We take the safety of our players very seriously and our Trainers are instructed to call an ambulance if they are in any doubt as to the wellbeing of any player in their care. We therefore strongly recommend that all families maintain their own ambulance cover to ensure all costs are covered. Our insurance provides refunds of up to 90% of non-Medicare costs up to a defined limit for all players, officials and volunteers; more details are available at https://afl.jltsport.com.au. If your player is injured during a match or at training please make sure your Trainer, Coach or Team Manager knows so that an incident form can be completed to assist with any claims that may result.
Congratulations to Chloe Williams from U16 Girls, who has been selected in the School Sport Victoria Team Vic 15 years and Under Girls Australian Rules Football State Team competing in the School Sport Australia Championship to be held in Adelaide, South Australia from 21 July – 28 July 2018. Good luck to Chloe and her Victorian teammates in competing for the Australian title!
The Round 5 fixture has been released: Round 5 Now that grading has finished essentially a “new” competition starts, and some teams may end up playing each other once, twice or even three times over the season. A new grading process was trialled for season 2018 and the NFNL will request feedback at the end of the season, so please forward any comments to email@example.com for collation. The NFNL have advised that the remaining fixtures will be available later this week or early next week. Eight home games this week for what looks like a return to winter footy weather:
The first boxes of our training tops order has arrived and will be distributed via Team Managers. We are expecting the remainder of the order to arrive during the next week. Players who have registered since the order was placed will still receive a training top - it just won’t have their name on the back.
The Round 4 fixture has been released: Round 4 U9s and U10s are not being graded but other age groups will be grouped together for the grading rounds. Divisions for each team will be known after this weekend and the fixture for the rest of the season should be available. Super Sunday with ten home games this week! If you can, please walk or cycle to the ground as parking will be at a premium.

Thank you to everyone who has given feedback on the new canteen service. People seem pretty happy with the improved quality but we are reviewing some prices and more sustainable packaging. Please continue to support Dhan and the Club as we work together to improve the service to our members.
Great weather for our first Auskick session last Saturday! Around 180 boys and girls and families turned out to enjoy the sunshine. The Auskick Coordinators Tim, Glen and Pete, along with the other Coaches, are rolling out Auskick 2.0 which is designed to reduce queues and give the kids more time with the ball in their hands. Early reports indicate that the new program is a great idea.
