The Northcote Junior Football Club is seeking coaches for the 2019 season. Existing coaches wanting to continue in the role and all those interested in coaching for the first time will need to complete and submit the application form below. NJFC supports all coaches to acquire necessary qualifications. Formal notice of the AGM was sent out last week, along with nomination forms. A number of the current committee members have indicated they will stay on, but we will need a few new members and there are always other non-committee roles that we need help with. The annual report will be presented at the AGM as well.

We’re excited that our project has progressed to the voting stage. We have submitted an application to join the Yarra Junior Football League to the YJFL Board. They will consider the application and make their determination in due course. If our application is endorsed, the YJFL will make an application to AFL Victoria for us to become part of the YJFL. The deadline for this application is 15 October 2015. We will keep you informed of progress in relation to the application over the coming months.
Our AGM is coming up on 12 September, where our new committee will be elected. School Sports Victoria are holding the quarter finals and semi finals of the intermediate and senior schools competitions at McDonell Park this Thursday 16 and next Monday 20 August and we will be running a BBQ and cake stall. Volunteers are needed to help out, particularly for Thursday 16th. If you can help out from 10.30am-1pm or contribute something for the cake stall please let Ann-Maree know. This is an opportunity for the club to raise some funds to support our likely move to the YJFL and we need people to put their hands up and help out.

Thank you to all of you who have mentioned our club code (800006) when buying merchandise at Sportsmart this year. The club gets a small rebate on all purchases, even in the off-season, so please keep using the code when you shop there. The rebate from this year has already been put towards equipment in preparation for the 2019 season.
Volunteers of the week this week are our 2018 Committee members, without whose contribution the club cannot function.
