Round 7 fixture

Newsletter
The Round 7 fixture is now available, along with the fixture for the remainder of the season. NFNL Operations Manager Simon Devine has sent out the following message: Please be advised that the whole junior fixture is now available online. Please note due to restraints in ground availability, competition sizes, who teams are playing etc I have worked on a min of 5 home games for all teams (with exception to two clubs who I have spoken to). Please be advised that due to these similar restraints you may play some teams 2/3 times in the fixture and some teams only once.  This is also due to the restraints of the system. Important Reminders

Newsletter
Only Coaches can coach, not Boundary Umpires, Water Carriers, Trainers, Goal Umpires or any other officials that may be on the ground. Runners are only allowed to deliver a maximum of two messages directly from the Coach then must get off the ground. All these officials MUST NOT engage with players (Cougars or opposition) in any other capacity than specified by their role, or the Umpire at all. We stress that all parents volunteering in these roles must respect these rules as the team can be penalised if they are breached. Refer to http://njfc.com.au/?page_id=184 for more details about what is required for specific roles. Another requirement is that only four officials can be in the Coaches box during play – one Coach, one Assistant Coach, Runner and Team Manager. The…

Consideration of applying to change leagues

Newsletter
In response to various concerns raised by members we have been investigating the merits of applying to change Leagues. A discussion paper with more information will be presented to members within the next week and we will be asking all club members to respond via an online survey as to whether they think a change of leagues is necessary. The Committee have decided that the online survey is the best means of obtaining the views of the entire membership, rather than the Special General Meeting mentioned in the previous newsletter. Based on the feedback from the survey the Committee will make a decision about whether to proceed with an application. Please take the time to read the paper and respond to the survey as this is a big decision for…
