The club is already working on making 2013 our best year ever. And for that, we need more hands on deck – including yours.
We're looking for coaches and assistant coaches (we pay for your training), canteen sub-committee members, canteen volunteers, team managers, and a fundraising manager. We also want to identify someone who can help us liaise with schools in our area. Finally, we're looking for assistants to the current secretary, football operations manager, registrations officer, social secretary, awards and photos manager and more.
We already have one very successful female coach – the Under-11s' Millie Anag – and the club, the Northern Football League and the AFL itself are all keen to recruit more women into coaching roles. So if you're a mum who's interested in learning how to coach, come and see us.
We also have openings on the committee if you want to help steer the club. We're particularly keen to recruit more committee members from parents of younger-age players.
Our big group of existing volunteers will help you get started. And you'll have a great time helping make the NJFC the best junior football club in Melbourne.
So phone the NJFC president, David Walker, on 0407 133 020, and join our growing band of club volunteers.
