Free Kick to an inclusive club

Free Kicks

The Free Kicks scheme provides free footy for kids that wouldn’t be able to play without this scheme. It includes:

Free Club Membership

Free Kit and Uniforms

Transport to training and matches from pick up points

A Breakfast Club for players

If we raise $50,000 we can sustain it for three years, including purchasing a mini-bus to include more children in the scheme and to extend the scheme across Darebin.

In 2017 we had 35 kids on the Free Kicks scheme but with increased funding we can increase these numbers and offer more activities like the Breakfast Clubs. After three years we hope to have other funding in place, like sponsorship.

If you are not aware of Free Kicks please have a look at this Fox Footy Feature on it!!

The two projects complement each other. As we grow as a club with more members and community projects we need better all-round facilities.

No matter how small, every donation will help!

If you know of anyone or business that may be interested in donating to either scheme please do ask them. The more people we have promoting the scheme, the more successful it will be and the more the Cougars can do for the local community.
