There is a lot of work that goes into setting up the grounds each week. For our home games we ask that parents assist by helping the Coaches, Team Managers and Grounds Manager by marking our grounds and picking up any rubbish/sticks/stones/dog poo that we don’t want players to land on (gloves provided). It’s usually the Under 9 parents that get this fun job, but it is important that the grounds are safe to play on. We also need helpers at the end of the day to pack up after the last game – many hands make light work!

Last week the club has rolled out BlueQ. This is a database, chosen by the NFL, to store and administer our compliance with Child Safe Standards, first aid training and coaching courses. The many wonderful volunteers in our club will have received an email about how to load up their details. Please let Kirsty (secretary@njfc.com.au) know if you have not received the email. This initiative will be a significant aid to ensuring we do all we can to keep our children safe and provide up to date training to all those teaching our kids how to play the game.

Thankyou for being patient with us as we source clothing for the 2017 season. - The first order of training tops was delivered this week; the second order for those who registered a little later should be with us within the next fortnight (hopefully next week).
