If you haven’t voted yet please do so this week - Voting closes Monday 17 September. A big thank you to the 2018 Committee – Kirsty, Mel and Katrina in particular. I think I can safely say it is a club first to have had an all-female executive this year and I have felt very supported by all of you and believe that we have worked really well as a team. Please come along to our AGM next week - Wednesday 12 September - where the committee to lead the club for the 2019 season will be elected. Formal notice of the AGM was sent out last week, along with nomination forms. A number of the current committee members have indicated they will stay on, but we will need a few new members and there are always other non-committee roles that we need help with.  The annual report will be presented at the AGM as well.

Congratulations to U12 Gold and U16 Girls – both Grand Final winners on Sunday. Congratulations to all players! A big thank you to the Coaches, Team Managers and team officials who have worked hard with the teams over the season and are a big reason for their success. We have submitted an application to join the Yarra Junior Football League to the YJFL Board. They will consider the application and make their determination in due course. If our application is endorsed, the YJFL will make an application to AFL Victoria for us to become part of the YJFL. The deadline for this application is 15 October 2015.
