The NFNL have advised us that the only colour of compression garments (‘Skins’) that will be allowed to be worn in the 2018 season is beige. No black skins will be permitted.

Our Summer training program run by Elly Fourlis continues on Tuesday evenings at McDonell Park. The last session for 2017 will be on 19 December and resume on 30 January 2018. We’ve been very pleased with the attendance even though the weather through most of the sessions has been quite hot. The program is designed for girls and boys aged Under 12 or older.  The Northcote Junior Football Club is seeking coaches for the 2018 season. All new and existing coaches must complete and submit an application form. Applications are now open and will close on Friday 24 November 2017. We are currently finalising the design for our 2018 training tops. Training tops were introduced for the first time in 2017 and proved very popular amongst the players. We are now calling for expressions of interest from local businesses and other sponsors who are interested in contributing some sponsorship funds to have their logo displayed on the new season tops. We are finalising a new out of season training program for older players, with sessions to be run on a number of Tuesday evenings both before and after Christmas. A variety of different fitness activities will be included - full details will be available within the next week or so.
